Rethinking inspection in offshore wind

Powered by compact ROV technology and years of subsea expertise, we provide flexible delivery models to overcome the toughest inspection challenges facing offshore wind operators.

Rethinking inspection in offshore wind

From high-current foundations to critical cable operations, our compact ROV systems deliver precision, performance, and reliability where others hesitate.

In a global sector expanding as rapidly as offshore wind - with a drive to reduce operations and maintenance - ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective solutions has never been more critical.

However, trying to deliver Balance of Plant (BoP) in high-current environments means that operators are often up against limited weather windows, specific deployment restrictions and contractual challenges.

At HPR, we provide high-precision inspection support for the full lifecycle of an asset; from installation, through to decommissioning offshore wind infrastructure. Our specialised ROV services support cable pull-in operations and subsea integrity inspections across both floating and fixed assets, with systems deployed either from a CTV or directly from the asset.

Where innovation meets expertise

We go beyond just deploying ROVs; we engineer advanced subsea systems and field them with elite operators to solve some of the toughest challenges facing the offshore wind sector. Whether deploying from a CTV, SOV, or directly from a platform, we have the compact systems and flexible delivery models to maximise project efficiency.

With a proven track record in supporting leading projects - such as Dogger Bank – and successful interventions in challenging subsea conditions, you can trust our team to ensure safety and uptime no matter which stage your asset is at, from pre-installation to decommissioning.

Where innovation meets expertise

At HPR, we don’t just deploy ROVs; we engineer advanced subsea systems and field them with elite operators to solve some of the toughest challenges facing the offshore wind sector.

This combination of our extensive subsea expertise and rapid deployment capabilities allows us to help wind operators minimise risk, reduce downtime, and ensure asset longevity in high-load marine environments.

We’ve supported some of the world’s leading offshore and marine operators, delivering the technology and expertise their projects demand.

01.

Wind farm inspection

In two days, using a small survey vessel and hand-deployment, HPR completed an ROV inspection of two wind turbine monopile foundations, as well as associated scour protection.

02.

Mast and marine growth inspection

HPR was contracted to conduct a marine growth survey on a mast, using a single-operator ROV deployed from a crew transfer vessel.
Forward

03.

Photogrammetry

HPR deployed a Stereo Camera with a hand-deployable ROV from the platform to provide millimetre accuracy on an installation that had old and outdated drawings.
