Xodus appoints new subsea analysis lead

Aberdeen-based global energy consultancy Xodus Group has announced the appointment of a new subsea analysis lead.

Ismael Ripoll will steer Xodus Group’s finite element analysis (FEA) team, covering areas such as steel and flexible pipelines, pressure vessels and structures.

Mr Ripoll joins the firm from Intecsea where he acted as technical authority of the advanced analysis team.

He has also worked for KW Subsea and Atkins and has successfully led several consultancy projects.

Mr Ripoll, who will be based in the company’s London office, said: “I am pleased to be joining a company with such a strong reputation for technical excellence.

“The advanced analysis team has a clear drive for innovation and for complex problem solving.

“I look forward to working with this highly talented group of individuals to develop new ideas and ways of working, so we can provide better results for our clients.”
