Dutch subsea inspection, maintenance and repair firm N-Sea has appointed a new chief executive.
Arno van Poppel has taken over from Gerard Keser, who stepped down after eight years in charge.
Mr van Poppel has joined N-Sea, which has an office in Aberdeen, from Dutch contractor Boskalis’ subsea cables and flexible division.
He said: “My experience aligns with the development of N-Sea, and I believe that the company is a thriving, independent platform which is ready for further growth.
“As we work in alliance with our partners in a number of key disciplines, I look forward to helping shape the company into a top tier player in the subsea infrastructure arena.”
Mr Keser added: “I will be leaving the executive role within N-Sea knowing that a solid strategy, together with a strong and experienced management team is in place.
“The company is in excellent shape to take advantage of the many opportunities for growth.”
