Dutch contractor Heerema’s new, LNG powered crane vessel has passed sea trials and load tests with flying colours.

Sleipnir reached a speed of 22.6 kilometres per hour and its cranes copes with loads of 11,000 tonnes each.

The vessel will soon commence its maiden voyage to southern Spain where it will be prepared for its first installation project in the Mediterranean.
