Babcock Offshore has released the video, showing a search and rescue team carrying out an operation 120 nautical miles east of Aberdeen.
A crewman on board the Ocean Tay ship, operated by Atlantic Offshore, was rescued during the incident in November last year.
Despite rough seas and high winds, the team successfully managed to rescue the casualty and take him to hospital.
