Solstad Offshore said that DeepOcean has exercised its option to extend the contract for the construction support vessel Normand Jarstein.

The extension is for a minimum period of 200 days in 2020, with start scheduled during the first quarter.

DeepOcean has the option to extend the contract with up to 1 year thereafter.

The vessel will be utilized for renewable energy and oil & gas projects.
