Bluefield Geoservices, a UK-based provider of specialist subsea geotechnical services announced its expansion into the Americas.
The company will initially open two offices in the US, one in the northeast US to serve the immediate demands of the offshore renewable energy market, and one in the southeastern US, to support ongoing operations in the Gulf of Mexico energy markets as well as projects in Central and South America.
“This is an exciting time of growth for Bluefield Geoservices,” according to Dr. Peter Allan, Bluefield director. “Establishing a permanent presence in the US and developing strong alliances with established partners in the region will allow us to support our ongoing work in the Americas, while facilitating growth in key targeted areas.”
The new offices in the US will broaden Bluefield’s offering of subsea geotechnical services to the global offshore energy, subsea mining, telecom, infrastructure and defense markets across the Americas.
“As Bluefield Geoservices continues to expand, having two fully-operational bases in the US—with both personnel and equipment on the ground—will help us further serve the international ocean industries with innovative subsea geotechnical expertise that prioritizes high-quality and robust data,” added Jim Edmunds, Bluefield managing director.
