Norway-based subsea engineering specialist Aker Solutions said it has emerged as the lowest bidder in a bid opening ceremony for one undisclosed subsea project.

The tender includes the delivery of a significant number of manifolds for a deepwater field, the company said.

Subject to completion of internal processing by the yet unnamed client, Aker Solutions expects to enter into exclusive negotiations for a potential contract award.
