Aberdeen firm takes in £1.6m globally thanks to 'efficient drilling' work

An Aberdeen-headquartered environmental management firm has secured over a million in global contracts since the beginning of the year thanks to a “bespoke efficient drilling plan”.

Turnkey Environmental Management Services International (TEMS International) said it has secured £1.6 million in work in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Malaysia.

The contracts have also led TEMS International to bring in eight new staff members.

The firm said its environmental drilling performance management plan has been “particularly in demand”.

It minimises environmental impact whilst “achieving substantial cost savings for the operator”, TEMS said.

The firm also said the “recent busy period” has also resulted in an increase in its environmental compliance service.

TEMS International managing director Bill Walkingshaw said: “We are delighted at the levels of business achieved during the year to date, and that this has led to new jobs across the team.

“Our growth plans are ambitious in terms of scale and geography and this tranche of work positions us well to continue expanding our corporate horizons and growing our global footprint.”
